Argyle Terrace Apartments – Company investment Acquisition, Design, Build and Manage.

The scope:

Having spotted a development opportunity in a popular location within Bath, we worked with local and trusted partners to create a sympathetic, attractive scheme of apartments to put back on the market.

The scheme set out and subsequently agreed by planning was the creation of two generous apartments from what was originally a two-bedroom, end-of-terrace home.

The result:

Through the demolition of an outbuilding to the rear, along with thorough planning, we were able to both maximise space and deliver on a challenging brief. After successfully gained planning permission, we worked alongside authorities, service suppliers and structural engineers to bring this concept to life. The properties then re-launched to market with new buyers secured for every single apartment.

The numbers:

  • Acquisition & Development cost = £440,000 (£325,000 acquisition + £115,000 build)

  • Total resale of apartments = £505,000

  • Timeline = 1.5 years from acquisition to resale completion.
